Hmph. My Charizard and I refuse to back down to rats that are not all that shocking. Thanks to 1.1.5, Charizard's AI is top-notch. That sick nasty burn was totally unnecessary, brah.

Although i really want to enter him, i dont think there is hope for God to come back for AWT6... Trying to get him to stop using rollout and occasionally being aggresive for god knows what reason is hopeless.

With just over a week until the submission deadline, I still don't know who I want to submit. I've picked up both a Mewtwo and Lucario recently and I still can't decide.
Starting from the bottom, Greninja seems to be the weakest, with the lowest win percentage vs the others, but some of those random wins I just can't overlook. I don't think he's ever beaten Charizard though. He is pretty good at the Final Smash and rarely misses. Of all of them, his has one of two Final Smashes with a guaranteed KO among the Pokemon.
Next, Pikachu is built pretty tough and hangs in with everyone. He's hot and cold. Can't overlook his Final Smash, but I found it's not a guaranteed KO every time. I've had Lucario, Greninja, Mewtwo, and Pikachu himself avoid some of the hits and been able to recover from the Final Smash.
Third, Mewtwo hits like a truck and is starting to combo in aerials lately. He is still pretty young and needs to play better defense and charge that Shadow Ball more. His is the other one with the guaranteed KO if it hits. He's missed a couple of times, but it's rare.
Fourth, Lucario, my newest trainee. Sometimes makes me wish I had a Critical Hit to give him, but honestly, he doesn't need it. Like Mewtwo, needs to play better defensively, especially at higher percentages, so he's not cheaply KO'd when he is at his strongest. Plus charge that Force Ball! He actually sucks with his Final Smash and is not aggressive post-transformation, but he's pretty good at getting it before anyone else.
Last, but top of the list at the moment is Charizard. Probably my most experienced Pokemon amiibo, plays defense well and is properly aggressive when necessary. The only flaws in his game are a case of the hops, thanks to learning that he can use his air attacks, specifically his F-air easier thanks to 1.1.5, and how bad he is with his Final Smash. Maybe it's that the other amiibo know to be mobile when Charizard gets his Final Smash or maybe Charizard needs to use his Dragon Rush over his Fire Blast when chasing opponents post-transformation.
Thankfully, I still have a lot of time to train and evaluate prior to the tournament.

I'd go with Charizard or Mewtwo. $wagDragon's been beating Gyiyg a lot during his training; common sense tells me I oughta enter him instead, but my inner child demands Mewtwo because reasons. Something something waxing nostalgic...something.

Guys, just what ever you do, don't enter Greninja lol
Unless you're like 100% confident that your Greninja is a beast. In that case, go right ahead lol

I'm pretty certain he's out of the running, but I keep using him and training him so my other Pokemon amiibo know what it takes to beat other Greninja they may face in the tourney. I think I just need to eliminate the fluke victories by Greninja and I'll be happy. My latest struggle, and why I may not enter my Mewtwo, is with his recovery sometimes. Specifically on Omega Boxing Ring. I'm training them on the two stages Amiibo Dan likes to use, Omega Boxing Ring and Miiverse and, on occasion, my Mewtwo will SD during his recovery by using the Teleport Up Special, bonking his head on under the lip of the arena, not grabbing the edge, and bouncing out away from the edge. I've seen him drop stocks in several matchups doing that specifically on Omega Boxing Ring, which is the first and potential third arena in Amiibo Dan's tournaments. That's too big of a liability for me to consider entering him right now.

I honesty wonder why Dan never accounts for that, in a Pokémon tourney of all things too.

No seriously, Omega (Stage that Ridley usually appears on that I can't remember the name of at the moment) is the WORST omega stage. It's taken stocks from me and my amiibo from getting caught under that little lip thing.

Just had it happen again today in a little spar between Charizard and Mewtwo. At the worst possible time for Mewtwo also. Tournament situation and tournament rules. 3rd match, Omega Boxing Ring. Charizard won the first, Mewtwo won the second. Deciding match. Both amiibo are down to their last stock, sitting around 40% damage. Charizard throws Mewtwo off to the left and Mewtwo teleports, bonks, bounces and SDs. Game. It's always on the left side of Omega Boxing Ring and only so far with Mewtwo. Right now, it is too big of a liability for me to even consider entering Mewtwo, no matter how good he gets.

Its just unfair at this point.

If I had a mewtwo amiibo for every time that happened to my mewtwo amiibo, I'd have more Mewtwos then MarioTehPlumber has Rosalinas. This is the main reason why Im not entering Mewtwo and instead Lucario. I dont want him to SD twice in a row after all we've done to grow strong. So yeah, I agree with TheEleh. It should be banned tbh.

Yeah, I'm down to Charizard, Lucario and Pikachu to choose from. Mewtwo now joins Greninja on the 'not entering in AWT 6' pile.

Funny, my Mewtwo has never SD'd, and he only seems to lose against Charizard. EDIT: I'mma test this theory by doing a few matches on Omega Boxing Ring. Mostly been training on Battlefield and Omega Rainbow Road (3DS).
