To be honest, I like how smooth the Mewtwo figure is.
EDIT: Charizard also has that smooth feeling. Heh heh.

The Fire Emblem figs have some amazing detail, especially the little things like illustrating the pages on Robin's book. Also, Falco's got some nice-lookin feathers. Nintendo put a lot of work into the sculpts of the Smash series figs.

My favorite detail would the little marks on my Bowser's shell. I'm usually very careful with my amiibo, so I'm certain those aren't my doing, but these marks not only help to reinforce that the shell doesn't regenerate, but proves that Bowser's been in a lot of fights. If you have one, check yours in a light, you'll notice them with relative ease.
More noticeable details that are awesome would be:
- Ganondorf, the entire amiibo. So much detail in him, I'm amazed these were produced in large amounts.
- Fox, the little dents on his coat's zipper, the straps on his boots and the gradient of the color on his tail.
- Captain Falcon's insignia on his back. If it's a sticker or not doesn't matter, it's got so much detail on it I can clearly read "Blue Falcon No.7" on the bottom of it. "Show me your moves"? I believe Nintendo already did.

Jesus christ, a lot of love went into Ryu. The sculpt and paint job is on par with a McFarlane action figure; every detail has been recreated right down to the kanji on his gloves and belt. Now if only a Chun Liibo existed...

The Roy Amiibo, to me, has to have the most detail. I mean, just look at it! They even added that crumple in his shirt that I didn't notice until I checked the Amiibo and then the character photo!
