I lost to a lucina R3, but seeing how well my NotZelda did just motivates me to help them get even better. Oh, and all that rosalina counter training I did for naught, shame.

The lack of improved escapability made my ZSS vulnerable to grabs. Her AI was just not good and she lost because she was shielding too much, which got her grabbed in those matches with havok's villager.
Her problem was resolved a couple of days ago, since escapability, explosive perfect shield and easy perfect shield was a better setup for her.

(boy am i late to the party with this one)
Poor Lina didn't get too far, it seems. Round 1 was a bit of a breeze, but only because my opponent was at a disadvantage with a vanilla layout (AKA no equipment). Round 2 was definitely close (I cringed a bit on the Miiverse stage when Lina whiffed the punish after getting her FS), but that Lucina had quite the layout. I'm just a tad dissapointed Lina never got a chance to land a Sleepy Toad counter, which I trained her hard to do. Here's hoping AWT #6 works out a little better!

Congrats to all who participated. Although I talked about it with Cloud on twitter (@jlvulgamore is me), I applaud Amiibo Dan for being fair to all those involved on the hacking incident. He did vote on whether or not to DQ MageJoker. The resolution, setting his amiibo to proper stats and redoing all the matches was fair to all participants. Amiibo Dan was right, this was probably an honest mistake, and MageJoker got a fair shake as did all his opponents in the tournament. MageJoker did win AWT #5 but it was with an amiibo with legit stats.
