I figured I would post info and my thoughts on my amiibos. Your comments, criticisms, and suggestions are appreciated.
Firstly, I am not a very good SSB player. I do my best to train my amiibos, but often times, I resort to Level 9 computer opponents for assistance while using Slow Special Smash and Timers to attempt to reinforce certain ideas and strategies. How good they are is relative to each other and whether they can be competitive with the best trained amiibos out there is debatable. Also, you will see that most of these have 1,1,1,1 movesets. I started training many before unlocking moves, so if a move is better, let me know and I'll try it. I also have not found a single Critical Hit part, so none of my amiibos have that ability.
My style tends to be a cross between Cloud's defensiveness and Amiibo Dan's aggressiveness, falling into more of a middle ground of balanced.
Presenting my amiibos, in order from best to worst:
Bowser (Gozirra) - 100/120/-100
1,1,1,1
Autoheal
Imp Escape
Easy Perfect
Easily my best amiibo. He is the second one I trained and has the highest win percentage. Smart enough to camp in the center of the arena, away from the edges and crush all who approach him. Working on curing him of a case of the hops as he has a tenancy to hop when idle or when moving toward opponents. Probably due to all of the other smaller, jumpy amiibo he faces on a daily basis. Started using air attacks on his own, specifically his n-air, the cartwheel. Recently started using d-special out of shields.
Marth (Ares) - 60/60/0
1,1,1,1
Lifesteal
Easy Perfect
Critical Hit
Took my amiibos by storm once I got him to lvl 50. So far, the only amiibo I have to consistently be able to challenge Bowser for the top spot. Trained using Cloud's guide to teach tippers, but I may need to send him back to school. Still runs hot and cold, recently had a match against my Mario amiibo where he lost 2-0 and only did 10% damage. Also has a bit of the hops, but may have been cured using a custom lava ceiling level. Need to reinforce Counter more and get him away from grabs as he goes in for grabs too much and his opponents end up inside his range and don't get hit by his sword.
Luigi (Weegee Man) 40/60/20
1,1,2,1
Imp Air Attacks
Easy Perfect
Imp Braking
One of my more aggressive amiibo, Luigi is pretty consistent. Trained him to love his air attacks using a spring custom level. Has a good grip on the down throw, f-air, f-air combo. Occasionally tries to edgeguard with the kick taunt, don't know if he's ever connected. Still uses the Cyclone a bit too much for my taste, but usually he's starting it from a jump and pressuring shields with it. Doesn't use the up special enough to be comfortable with it. Tried him with the Ice Ball special, but he is too used to the standard fireball, which he uses to create space and pressure from range.
Mega Man (Rock) 50/60/10
1,1,1,1
Imp Escape
Easy Perfect
Quick Smash
First amiibo I trained since I typically main Mega Man in SSB4. Fallen madly in love with the up smash and can hit it pretty consistently. Still doesn't charge f smash enough, but still uses it effectively, often rolling behind his opponent and unleashing. Trying to get him to use his up tilt more and to spike with the d aerial. Getting better in using the up aerial when opponents are above him. Actually uses the Leaf Shield pretty effectively, throwing it across the map for damage or activating it and grabbing. Still throws the Metal Blade diagonally up instead of consistently throwing it at his opponent.
Link (The Spider) 40/80/0
1,1,1,1
Easy Perfect
Mirror Shield
Health-restoring shield
Another hot and cold amiibo that I trained specifically defensively, but still is surprisingly aggressive. Z-airs a lot, probably too much. Hasn't effectively used bombs. Will often throw one up and grab at his opponent, as he has successfully up thrown them into the bomb explosion a few times. Controls the arena pretty well with the Boomerang, but I think is just lacking a punch to get consistent wins.
Mario (Mari000) 40/40/40
1,1,1,1
Imp Shield regen
Easy Perfect Sheld
Imp Air Attacks
Gave him the Imp Air Attacks after realizing how much time he spends in the air. A bit of an up-and-comer of my crew, but still has a lot to learn. Can't use FLUDD effectively and uses d air a bit too much, but overall, still solid.
Fox (Nitro) 40/50/30
1,1,1,1
Crash Run
Imp Shield regen
Imp Air Attacks
Originally setup as a high speed amiibo (hence Crash Run), but that experiment failed. At high speed, he jumped too high and couldn't hit anything. Slowed him down a bit and now he's a little more effective. Doesn't use Reflector enough and sometimes stands there and does the splits (down smash) just hoping to hit someone. Can't seem to get a good hold on him to bring him up to the level of the other amiibo.
And now for my recent, newly minted level 50s:
Lucas (Ice Cold) 40/70/10
1,1,1,1
Easy Perfect
Imp Escape
Imp Launch
Recently added the Imp Launch after reading these boards. Trained him to PK Freeze opponents as an edge guard because I think it's hilarious. Loves to combo down throw, up air. Loves the up smash, but doesn't hit as often and uses it at inappropriate times and not always when he should. Probably the best recovery out of all my amiibo as he uses both the PK Thunder recovery and the z-air Rope Snake pretty well.
Dr. Mario (Dr. Mafia) 40/70/10
2,3,1,2
Imp Shield Regen
Health-restoring shield
Imp Escape
First real foray into custom moves. Has become an expert with Breezy Sheet and loves to push people around with it. Still has a lot to learn, but could be formidable.
Gannondorf (Doom) 40/70/10
2,1,2,2
Trade off attack
Imp Escape
Lifesteal
Just finished leveling to 50 on 2/18. Such a pain to train because he is so slow, but is understanding how to break shields with his Warlock Blade and follow up.
