So with the addition of the Super NES Challenge in The Golden Outlet, I'm assuming nearly everyone is going to want to take the challenge and take down, what I consider to be, Cloud's most powerful amiibo.
But let's be honest, a bunch of us are going to get our butts kicked by him.
So why don't we team up and start discussing strategies and training methods that would give us the best chance of beating Super NES?
I've been stalking looking through the Amiibo Dojo youtube channel and all the videos with Super NES in them hoping to find something to help out.
My first step towards training an amiibo to beat Super NES would to have his face just any Ness amiibo to get used to the character. (If anyone out here had a Ness .bin file they'd be willing to share to help me with my training, I'd be highly grateful) but after that, I'm stumped, I haven't fought Super NES before or really any amiibo that isn't mine.
So is anyone else willing to post here and help us all out with a plan of attack?

We need to find a way to outsmart the intelligent, basically. We need to be more than three steps ahead of Super NES. Okay. ... This is going to be tough.

Is using a hacked Little Mac banned in the Challenge? Because if not let's all do that.

Honestly, I think it might just be a matter of teaching our amiibo in winning the rock-paper-scissors game against Super NES. Obviously, Super NES thrives on that, and really, if we are able to combat him with another really adaptable amiibo, we should be golden.
I think some good candidates for this would be Marth, Lucina, Pikachu (lol maybe), Rosalina, Shulk, Mario, Dr. Mario, and basically anyone with quick attacks that hit hard. Or have a ton of reach, like Shulk.

I might try maxing out his attack and upping his defense just to beat Super NES. I figure that if he could hit first, he might win.

The main problem Bowser has is that he's such a sluggish character, hence why I didn't include Ganondorf in my list either. When you're facing an opponent is thrives on reads and punishing your mistakes, you can't really afford to leave yourself open with such slow attacks; especially with -200 speed. I've noticed recently that Cloud doesn't use those extra 40+ speed points for mobility and such like almost everyone else does. No, he digs a bit deeper and abuses them for less cooldown time on Ness' grounded moves. Since Super NES isn't trained to jump around, Cloud doesn't have to worry about being vulnerable in the air as much. Very clever, Cloud , buT I'M ON TO YOOOOUUUU.

Okay, our greatest asset is a Little Mac, preferably with an Overloaded RPS setup.

But if we manage to beat Super NES with Little Mac, that's only all the more reason to use 'Little Mac = SSS tier' card. Uh, no. If anything, it would be hilarious for someone to train another Ness and beat him at his own game lol

I have no doubt that Mac is the opponent who Super NES has the most experience fighting against, so why even try with him?

There are actually certain characters who are specifically programmed to snipe poor Ness offstage when recovering with projectiles. Its hilarious lol
