So today was WAS1. I had initially entered bowser. Then I wanted to enter ness. Then i realized Ness’ AI is slowly going to crap.. So i went back to bowser.
Then we all learned that there would be FOUR Little macs. FOUR OF THE BEST AMIIBO IN THE GAME. IN ONE TOURNAMENT. This really scared me. I knew for a fact bowser would be destroyed by Mac. So I scrambled to find ANY AMIIBO in my collection that could beat mac- even once. I was able to get King Dedede to beat my Mac- so he went in.
My first match came up, and I moved on to round 2. I was knocked out by a frickin’ link. LINK. A B RANK AMIIBO. WHO BEAT THE A RANK DEDEDE. In the loser's bracket it got even worse- VILLAGER sealed dedede’s fate. The question that STILL boggles my mind is how A D RANK BEAT AN A RANK.
This isn’t the first time i’ve lost a tourney as early as round 2.
AWT1- made it to round 2. Lost to ganon.
AWT2- lost to ganon + mario in round 1.
AWT3- lost to bowser in round 1.
AWT4- lost to lucinas in round 2.
AWT5- absolutely slaughtered by @cloud’s rosalina in round 1.
AWT6- killed by GRENINJA round 1.
AWT7- lost to ness round 1.
WAS0- lost to bowser round 1.
WAS1- lost to link round 2.
I AM DONE WITH BEING THE GUY WHO GET KILLED THIS EASILY.
I AM DONE WITH RELYING ON AMIIBO WITH LOW RANKING.
I AM DONE WITH IT.
So I have some new PERSONAL RULES now.
1. Only S and A ranks will be my tourney entrants.
2. All amiibo in the D rank are ineligible from being trained competitively.
3. Little mac is ALWAYS an option.
4. If an amiibo loses a tourney earlier than round 3- they will never be used in any tourney again.
I have every intention of entering an overload mac into AWT8.
I have every intention of going into WAS2 and beyond with a high tier. (since mac will be banned to my dismay)
I know i’m better than this. I have potential. I just need to stop bothering with low tiers. In my book, entering a D rank in a tournament is a guaranteed lose. So unless it’s a d-rank only one- i will never even bother with d ranks. Ever.
I’m ready to begin a new path. A path of winning.
The tier list is always right.
