I need help deciding on any custom moves for Tia. Any recommendations? I didn't give her any customs, but I wanna know what the best ones are for a Robin amiibo.

None. No custom moves are necessary.

I'd definitely reccomend Thunder+. It's slower, and takes more charge time, but it hits much harder, and a Robin with high attack can do wonders with this move. However, if the amiibo doesn't like to charge, you'll only get Thunders and Elthunders, but they still hit hard. If you can get them to use Arcthunder, this variation with do crazy shield damage. If nothing else, you could also consider Arcfire+, and try and teach Tia to snipe recovering foes with it from on stage.

Not quite sure since I've always been content with default, but I've heard some pretty awesome things about Fire Wall.
Its like a pillar of fire,
except it's not,
it's a....wall.
...
It's pretty much like Ness' PK Fire from what I can tell, but it activates on its own and its a close range attack. Sounds pretty deadly for combo potential if ya ask me.

I'm not really big on robin's custom moves, one of the things that make robin good is that he has a move for every situation so just leave his moves as is and teach him to use those properly.

I'm probably not the best source of training information, but I like Soaring Elwind. It goes higher, but the jab combo might leave you with only the first blast and you'll die. That's happened to my Robin before, but only once.

I have a question. Nosferatu with life steal or Goetia with life steal? Which would be better?

I would have to say Nosferatu would do you more justice, as Goetia has a lot more start up and my not be as useful.

Either works, imo. Nosferatu is quicker, but has less range and will heal you less. Goetia has slower startup, but has a fairly large hitbox that can pull foes in, and it deals/heals more damage. I'd personally use the latter, but I don't think there's any wrong choice here.
Actually, now that I think about it, does the healing on Nosferatu stack? The move normally heals while doing damage, so would adding lifesteal make it heal even more? idk.

Using the elwind jab uses up "durability" (how many times you can use a time before it needs to recharge) of the recovery move. You need 2 points of durability to completely use Elwind. If you only have 1 point left, then you can only use part of the move. If you have regular Elwind, you might still be able to recover with just the first blast. With Soaring Elwind, the first blast doesn't do much, so if you ran out of durability, you will fall to your death.

DUH
*face palm*
I forgot about the durability for a second there.
Thanks for the clarification though!

Can't go wrong with either one.
