Hey everyone! I'm Minerva Seyfarth, and I really love amiibo training. My first ever amiibo was Bowser, and I love Bowser as a character. He's one of my favorite amiibo. But my absolute FAVORITE amiibo is Lucina. My first main in Smash 4, I've always wanted to get Lucina. Last year I made it my quest to get one, and I did. She's presumably my best amiibo, being able to take down the S tier amiibo quite easily. I'm very proud of her achievements and I hope to make her strive to be the best amiibo I've ever trained.

Welcome to the forum! Hopefully you end up doing really well in AWT4, considering I wasn't able to!

I'll try my best! My Robin and Charizard amiibo have gotten to round two, so lets see if they can go further. I'm hoping they do, but only time can tell.

You're looking to be doing pretty good so far. Dan's going to be streaming the finals at some point soon but he doesn't want to "spoil" the bracket until part 3 finishes rendering.

I hope my amiibo can make it to round 3. I'd be really happy if they did. I wanna do some team training with them but I don't know the best way to do so.

Me neither, to be honest. I'm not very up to date in doubles training. I didn't really care about it prior to the tournament. I just entered two of my singles trained amiibo and they lost, predictably. Strange as it sounds, I wanted to lose this tournament - because now that I've lost, I'm determined to put in some actual effort.
As for team training, well, there's not really a point to that now, because Dan has your amiibo already. You can't really submit them again with additional matches under their belt (if that is what you were intending to do).
I can't really team train my amiibo effectively because all my amiibo are trained for singles. If I raise up two amiibo as a team, I won't have any other amiibo to "gauge" their ability - for example, Super NES is essentially my gatekeeper. He's won tournament champions and has played over 5,000 matches against every character and on every stage. If an amiibo beats him, they're doing really well. Thing is, I have no way to gauge doubles amiibo because I have no doubles champions.

If there's an effective way to train two amiibo to work in doubles, I'd start doing it now. That way, in the next doubles tourney that comes up, they'll definitely be ready. This tourney is a test of their capabilities, so to speak, and if I can find any flaws in their teamwork, I can try and fix those so that they can perform better next time.

Hi! I'm quite fond of Lucina too! I've been aiming to make her my best Amiibo too, but she's currently locked in a three way deadlock for my top Amiibo. She consistently, beats my Lucario, but Lucario consistently beats Link who consistently beats Lucina. Don't worry, Lucina! You'll be the best soon enough!

You should train Lucina against Link some more. My Lucina can beat a Little Mac amiibo so if she can do that, then Lucina can dedefinitely beat Link. I'd love to help, but I don't know how your Lucina plays against other amiibo.

Oh they've trained together a lot. I just feel that my style of Link is a pretty hard counter for my Lucina's style, but I suspect the match up will change in Lucina's favor once I find a Critical Hitter to replace Trade Off Attack with. I do really need to get my hands on a Little Mac to train fighters against tho.

Critical Hit and Lifesteal are definitely useful for a Lucina amiibo. My Lucina uses it so effectively, and it works even better with her Counter.

I'm currently running Lifesteal, Trade Off Attack, and Improved Escapability. At first I was thinking with Lifesteal the more consistent high damage of Trade Off Attack would work, and Lifesteal would make the 30% not matter, and for a while it was working, but in the end that 30% damage is a handicap she can't spare. I may try Trade Off Attack on Ike when I get around to training him since he can endure more pain.

I think that would be the best option for Ike. If you run into a critical hitter, give it to Lucina. She will make the most use out of it.
