Alright, so let me try this again.
*boop*
There we go! Easier on the eyes, huh?
Ok, so unlike last time (and I don't know why I didn't do this before), I'm actually going to go over how I ranked my amiibo here. Because there are just too many details to NOT include- you'll get lost otherwise.
However, to save you some time, I'll sum this up for you:
Just know that the main idea behind this list is that this is my personal tier list. Which ranks amiibo based on how they do against each other, and how they do against yours truly. This is also NOT a competitive play amiibo tier list by any means, and is purely just for discussion and and other fun purposes.
With that being said, there is a personal rule chart I use for my amiibo; which in itself, is quite ridiculous.
Here are the rules I used:
--------------------------------
0. Upsets will give lower ranking characters "bonus points" in terms of placement.
1. If one amiibo's stats or bonuses are changed, all previous win/lose ratios are disregarded. However, the amiibo in question will stay in their current tier position until further notice.
2. Characters will often be placed into tiers that are generalized based on stats or bonuses. For example, all the characters in "Super Slippery" tier all have the Skating Traction bonus. This has no effect on overall ranking though, and is purely for the heck of it.
3. If an amiibo wants to advance to the next tier, they must at least beat 3.5/4 of the characters that are in their current tier. Anything less will just bump up their ranking a couple spots. Anything more will end up being not only a tier rise, but yet further consideration for another tier rise after that if they prove to be a dominant force.
4. Two equipment bonuses have been banned:
4.1 Explosive Perfect Shield
4.2 Improved Escapability
(The reason the for the bans to these bonuses are because of general unfairness, and prolonging matches respectively.)
Critical Hit may be banned in the future if it proves to be too powerful for the other competition to keep up. If this ever happens, a series overhaul in bonuses will take place.
5. Equipment stats cap at 120 positive points.
6. Custom moves are looked over very carefully before given to a character.
7. If a character has a significant advantage over fellow amiibo in terms of AI, they might be given underwhelming bonuses to balance them out.
8. There are NO favorites.
8.1. Disregard the rule above, there is one.
9. Characters will be tweaked until I achieve a somewhat perfect balance, or I can't push them any further than what I have.
10. If a character makes a stupid mistake, then I'll keep letting them battle (or I'll battle them myself) until they fix it.
------------------------------
Phew, that took awhile. Thanks for stickin' around to read it through!
Double props if you actually did
