Hello!
I have a proposal: What if we have this little exhibition Free For All where four trainers each send in four of the same characters to duke it out for fun, like four PAC-MAN amiibo all fighting each other? It's not super serious (at least, to me); it can just be a fun event where we get to see amiibo who may have never adapted to 4-player matches react to said 4-player matches.
(It would be 8-player exhibitions, but alas, I have only a 3DS.)
It can be a weekly/biweekly event with several matchups of different kinds of characters each Exhibition.
If you think this is a great idea, let me know!
Proposed Rules: -3 stock matches -Tournament-legal stages only (might be any stage if you guys would like it to be) -No Items (maybe Smash Ball only) -Trainers send in only ONE character each for their one Exhibition (may shift to two depending on situations) -First come, first serve basis!

I would like to request a clarification if you don't mind. The first part of your sentence states 'Four trainers each send in four of the same characters'. This gives a total of 16 amiibo, as each trainer is sending 4 amiibo. Is the desired situation to have 4 Trainers each send the data for 1 amiibo of a character? The resulting group of 4 fights in a free-for all, which makes considerably more sense.

Four trainers each send in one amiibo of the same character to form a 4-player smash. So yes, you are right.
