So obviously I want to eventually train all of my amiibo, but I want to know who to prioritize. Basically, I want some of my higher-tiered amiibo trained so I can have my other amiibos fight them to gain experience against tournament regulars. Cloud mentioned Ganondorf on the shoutbox a few days ago, and I probably would've started on him but I've been having terrible luck getting the custom moves I need these past few days. So, I figured I'd ask for more input on who I should train next. Here are the S and A tier amiibo I own (none of them are trained currently):
Marth Little Mac Rosalina & Luma Ganondorf Mario Captain Falcon Lucario Shulk Charizard Ness
Thoughts? Are there another amiibo that have been entered frequently that aren't on this list? Any help/input would be appreciated!

Call me biased, but Lucario can be fun to train, ESPECIALLY if you deck him out with Trade-Off Bonuses. From what I can tell, me and Havok enter our Lucarios pretty frequently, and they usually get pretty far, so they can be quite a threat. But, if you're training a top tier to help prepare your other amiibo, I'd go with Ganondorf or Marth, both of which are prominent and dangerous characters in the meta game. Any experience against a well-trained Ganon/Marth is good experience.

Charizard because the world needs more Pokemon amiibo I've never seen very many in tournaments.

namelesssseleman - Lucario would be pretty fun, and he's definitely a pretty major threat. Ganondorf and Marth both seem more common, though... decisions, decisions.
pkmnmaster - oh Charizard... I've leveled him up to 50 at least twice now - reset him both times. Shameful of me... maybe one day Rodney will make a comeback.

Of all your choices, the two least common tournament amiibo would probably be Charizard and Ness.
I recommend you train one of the two; it would be nice to see more of them.

I would train Little Mac for the sake of teaching your chosen amiibo how to fight him. Little Mac, even without extensive training, tends to perform well against other amiibo , which will aid you a lot when it comes to training the amiibo of your choice due to how dangerous Little Mac can be without proper training against him. Get some experience before you fight one in a tournament (If they're not banned in it).
So, Little Mac wouldn't be the one you would send to tournaments, he's there so your amiibo can beat Little Macs more effectively.
As for who I would recommend for the tournaments, I can't really be of much use. I'm used to the vanilla meta, and even then I'd just pick the character whose playstyle I like the most, which would probably be Mario.

A Little Mac sparring partner for your other amiibos is a great idea, just be careful. I put my twin's Little Mac up against my Palutena, and she stopped shielding, which is a big no-no since she was using shield bonuses. (P.S. Roflcopter - I love your icon!)

Go with the gut feeling if you have one.
Can never go wrong with training Mac so your amiibo can learn how to fight Mac though.
BUT... Any serious suggestion, I'll say Charizard or Ness.

Little Mac is a weird situation. While yes, he's a great amiibo and every amiibo should be prepared to fight him... he's also frequently banned. That makes me hesitant on training a Mac as a sparring partner since I could be putting that time into training a more prominent threat, like Ganon or Marth, since they're more than likely not banned.
I WILL say, though, that this thread makes me really want to train my Charizard again. I might pick him and another to focus on for the next few days.

I will say training Ganon is fun - but training Charizard is also a blast - a FIRE BLAST.
But that's because despite owning all of those, these two are the only ones I've trained. The rest I just have set ups (except for Marth and Ness because I don't have an extras of those to train - don't plan on changing that either)

Go Little Mac as your first, then your 2nd, which is who you're best at/who is one of the more powerful amiibo.

I'd probably train Shulk and Marth because they are sword characters and they represent themselves as threats in tournaments.

Not even sure why Falcon is in A tier, to me he doesn't seem capable of it.
