Since the new Kirby A-Fvcking-mazing Callie & Marie and recolored SplatPak figs are the last ones currently listed on the official Lineup page, we can probably expect Man Are Sick, Sarah Palin, & Dragon Jesus' release date to be announced when K-dawg and pals hit the shelves on June 10. My gut estimate is mid-August, tho. |

Probably September or October I guess - That's usually when Nintendo does late summer/fall releases of things. I would say August is too early and November is too late. Unless the whole NX thing is coming out in November alongside a port of Smash.

I compared dates of when they were released in Smash to amiibo dates. I would say about May-August for Cloud and August-October for Corrinetta

Well, since Nintendo is making more Splatoon amiibo, I'd think it's going to wait a bit longer than we'd think, but not too much of an added delay.
See, adding Calamari to Splatoon isn't going to take a lot of time, as Splatoon's previous amiibo had 2 games they worked with. Mario Maker, which gave you a costume you can unlock on your own and Splatoon gave you a mission, which you could clear to get some acceptable gear. What's likely going to happen is Mario Maker won't do anything with them, so beat the mission in Splatoon and then stare at your amiibo as it gathers dust on a professional level.
On Nintendo's part, this is about as smart of an idea than those abundant Animal Crossing amiibo restocks that are piling up more than Mario amiibo in the early waves. They say they're going to kill the console to bring forth another one, and then immediately try to promote the shooter they have on the same console they're trying to replace. Perhaps they're trying to see what it takes for them to go "splat" on the wall.
As for the "Final 3" , I'm certain I can hear heads exploding from designing Bayonetta's amiibo while keeping the budget in control. She has enough trinkets sticking out she'll either be extremely fragile or be basically encased in a giant block of transparent support material. That has to be at least one valid reason for the delay.
Additionally, you could consider that the Final 3 is going to be just 1 wave of 3 amiibo, but maybe we'll get Cloud first and then get the last 2 in a second wave.

I would like to say all three should be released around the same time, but given Lucas was announced as DLC and got his amiibo before Roy/Ryu - I would say Cloud will be out before Corrin/Bayonetta.

I have a feeling that Cloud by himself or all of the final 3 could be released on July 8th, AKA splatoon wave 2 amiibos.
It's just a theory. Nintendo does like to space out releases to make the most of the line, so it wouldn't be odd to see Cloud released solo- followed by Corrin/Bayo.
Also- MORE THEORY TIME
Mewtwo DLC release was April 28th, 2015. The amiibo was released in the USA on November 13th. (A 7 month difference.) Note this is the only DL C character other than cloud to be released solo (without other characters with him)
Cloud DLC release was December 15th, 2015. The amiibo.. if he follows the mewtwo pattern... could release sometime in July. (7 months.)
