Was not expecting H20WRKS to get past round 1 I don't think he'll get past round 2.

I'm still waiting to see GyiyG fight M2...looks like EPM & I are up last on the bracket, tho. Oh well, y'can't ask for a better Main Event for the evening. Kinda wish Dan would stream more than one round per night, but hey, he's got Pokken to play instead...which he streamed for 4 1/2 hours. I'm starting to doubt this man's capabilities as a TO. I mean, he makes it happen, but he could do a little better. Everyone who's trained has been waiting for this. Also, why does Rd2 have more matches than Rd1? It seems that certain By'd entrants should have just fought in Rd1.

Everybody's been training and waiting for this tournament since the last one and he only streams it for 1 1/2 hours compared to the Pokken stream that he streamed for 4 1/2. Now, I don't watch his Pokken stuff, but I assume it's just him playing Pokken? Why is that more important than a "World Wide" amiibo tournament? Can he not play Pokken some other time?

Buddy, you have to understand.....
Amiibo Dan does this kind of thing a lot.
Everyone finds it annoying, but we have to get used to it, at least until Cloud manages to get an Amiiqo.

I understand taking a dinner break, that's cool. I just woulda really appreciated if he had continued the tournament afterwards instead of playing a game he's been constantly streaming since it came out.
It's like going to the MTG Grand Prix, playing 4 rounds, and then you're told, 'pack up your cards, we'll be picking up where we left off tomorrow'. Meanwhile, there are tables being set up for a Weiss Schwarz tournament in the same room you were playing Magic in.

How disappointing.
The worst part about my loss, is that my Charizard is one of my best, and I've been working with Amiibo for over a year straight.

Volteccer, STOP PLAYING WITH MY EMOTIONS!
He absolutely dominates the first match, getting the Double Final Smash clean sweep, and then fails to recover and dies in the second and third ones! And both amiibo did a whole lot of NOTHING during the third round! I feel so salty...*shivers in disgust*
Volteccer is a worthy contender, but the odds were against him, unfortunately...

GG EPM, that was intense. I fight another Mewtwo in rd.3, then maybe Dan himself....

Still, it was impressive that the Trollichu setup did succeed. You did have the perfect match-up. If he had gotten that Smashball instead of the Lucario, it would have been a different story.

So as far as I know, Havok, z, and Kahuna's amiibo, which all have the Dojo Touch, are all moving on. Congrats to you guys.

It only gets harder, Gemini's extremely well-trained, gone 2-0 for two rounds already whereas GyiyG got a bye. And if I face Dan in Rd4 I'm prolly gonna get NEK'D. But Gyiyg might have this. He could win Rd3, whip Dan in Rd4, then face Havok in the semifinals and Kahuna in the Final.

I was, sadly, unavailable during the majority of M.2's match. The point I began seeing was during the last stock or so. The stream is not up yet, so I do not know of what happened for most of it.
Regardless, however, I will take consolation in there being room for improvement. That there are more Mewtwo amiibo in the tournament, and that others are doing well, excites me, as I will be able to study them. Gemini and Gyiyg (fun fact, I named M.2 the same thing in the past, but ended up changing it) in particular among the Mewtwo outperformed M.2, and I will happily study them to observe how M.2 may improve further. Failure is opportunity, and proof that despite what I'd thought, there's still more to go. I'd honestly lost a lot of motivation to train my amiibo because it felt like anything I was doing was just short-term variation and that I'd hit some kind of learning ceiling.
And I can at least tell myself "well, my 3DS locked up and I thought it was broken, so I sent in M.2 a week earlier than everyone else" if I need an easy excuse!

EPM, you actually have the unfortunate honor of seeing M.2 lose twice. There was a goof at in the last two rounds. M.2 went up against DrexterY's Mewtwo first by mistake. DrexterY's opponent sent in a Ness amiibo instead of a pokemon amiibo, which gave DrexterY a bye. His Mewtwo had beaten yours initially. After some figuring out, Dan got it straight and put your Mewtwo up against Z's Mewtwo. Z did win.

Don't know how I made it to Round 3, but I certainly don't expect to go all the way. Hopefully Lucario will pull through for me!
