Welcome to the Amiibo Dojo forums! In order to keep this place family-friendly and create a welcoming atmosphere, a few rules have been put in place. As a member, you are expected to follow them at all times.
1. Behavior
1a. You are to use common sense in your posts. Think about what you're saying - if there's a chance it could start a fight or any kind of drama, don't say it. Simple.
1b. Do not post adult/offensive material. This includes gore, pornography, and otherwise sexual or suggestive content of any kind.
1c. Do not post illegal content. No ROMs, no viruses, .exe files, or links to websites that offer downloads for any of these.
1d. Respect other members, even if their opinion(s) are different than yours. Don't insult, talk down to, or harass any user.
1e. Type as legibly as possible. It's fine if you don't use any capital letters or have a typing quirk of some sort, but make sure people can understand you.
2. Spam & Posting
2a. Don't post anything that can be considered spam. What counts as spam is at the discretion of staff. As stated earlier, as long as you use common sense, you'll be fine.
2b. When responding to threads, be sure to stay on topic. Don't "derail" a topic by talking about something else entirely. If you want to have your own random discussions, you can use the General Discussion board, Private messages, or IRC chat.
2c. Don't double post or post meaningless messages. Furthermore, do not post merely to increase your post count.
2d. Do not join this site just to advertise. You'll be banned fairly quickly and all offending links will be removed. It's fine to link to someone else's site, but do not link to your own.
3. Miscellaneous
3a. Refrain from making multiple accounts. One account per person (it's fine if you have a family member who also wants to create an account).
3b. Don't backseat moderate. If you aren't a moderator, please don't call people out on rules they're breaking. That's the job of our moderators.
=======================================
That wasn't so bad, was it? I believe these rules to be very reasonable - really, if you have common sense, you'll do just fine. By the way, there is not a structured warning / ban system on these forums - punishment for offending users is at the staff's discretion.
