My Roy, Lee-Roy, the notorious failure, needs help with a problem of his. Yeah, I know that Roy Amiibo have many problems. I'd like to focus on one at a time though. So, anyway, my Roy almost never, ever lands his Side-B. He always misses the second or third hit or just gets his timing off, like when you play Roy and you press the button but nothing happens. How can I fix this, make it easier for him to juggle all types of opponents with this move? If it was possible to just remove his usage of Side-B I'd do it, but, well, it isn't.

I've gotten JadeDragon to land all the hits of Double Edge Dance consistently, but my deal was during training I used Slow Smash and connected all the hits, somewhat spamming the move to drill it in his head.
This meant I myself had to be able to connect all four hits under Slow Smash. I don't recommend doing the lower set, instead focusing on the neutral or upper set.
Keep in mind, there will be times where Roy will not get the full string, as Roy's AI is wonky about it, but when properly trained Roy will connect all the hits.

Actually, I have done that in Normal Smash, but with the upper set, because using the upper set is part of my Roy playstyle. Should I just go ahead and do it in Slow Smash anyway?

Wouldn't hurt to give it a shot. I do most of my training in Slow Smash anyway, so I'm really only speaking from experience.
